  1. Är det någon som tycker att Yes är det som gäller när det kommer till diskmedel? Yes ägs av #procterandgamble som investerar hårt i #israel. Musikgruppen Yes däremot, är fortfarande okay.

  2. This #earthDay, #cbc news is running at least 3 articles about #plastics, #plasticWaste and accountability for plastics production... yet not one of them mentions the fact that PLASTIC RECYCLING IS A SCAM, and that plastics recycling in #canada and abroad are #greenwashing #moneyLaundering schemes for large plastics-producing companies like #pepsi, #cocacola, #procterAndGamble and so on.

Even the article about the reusable grocery bag switch-a-roo misses how much of a con that was. Make plastic bags illegal, and replace them with PLASTIC BAGS that are just as much plastic, only now they charge you for them.

Check out the board of directors of one of the largest community recycling programs in the country:

Ask them what they do with all that plastic. Go ahead - I'll wait.

  3. Who is in charge of consumer refuse "recycling" in many parts of #canada, including my town in #NewBrunswick?

Why it's none other than executives from many of the enormous conglomerates that create & distribute all the plastic packaging in the first place!

    #loblaws, #sobeys, #metro, #mcDonalds, #pepsi, #coke, #procterAndGamble, #nestle, #rbi (#timHortons, #burgerKing, #popeyes) etc.

No matter how many times I email them asking, they will not reveal what they're doing with all that collected plastic they're going to "recycle".

We already know that the vast majority of plastic to be recycled never is: it finds its way to places like #india:

But at the same time #cbc is perfectly happy to pretend along with the "big lie" they've uncovered by refusing to use any critical thinking when covering local implementations of these projects:

Sure, *our* landfill may have less shit in it, but it had to go *somewhere*, and that somewhere is NOT back into "the circular economy". It goes to pollute some distant shore, to affect some distant population, to ruin the lives of others. It's RACISM.

Pats on the back and kudos all around to us *resourceful #Canadians*.

  4. A shadowy and controversial secret club meets in the California woods every year — and at least 5 US presidents were members

    by Áine Cain
    Mar 11, 2018,

"George H.W. #Bush joined the club in 1973, while chairing the Republican National Committee during the Watergate scandal.

"Domhoff writes that Bush belonged to a camp called Hill Billies, along with top executives from #BankOfAmerica, #GeneralMotors, and #ProcterAndGamble.

"Bush also brought along a future president as a guest on one trip to Bohemian Grove. He introduced his son — George W. Bush — at a lakeside talk in 1995, saying that he'd make a great president, according to Domhoff."

  5. CW: Long thread/9

#ProcterAndGamble CFO #AndreSchulten boasted of increasing prices *and* margins, saying "We have not seen any material reaction from consumers, so that makes us feel good about our relative position."

#Kroger CEO #GaryMillerchip said, "We’ve been very comfortable with our ability to pass on the increases that we’ve seen at this point, and we would expect that to continue to be the case."

Reporters who tuned into earnings calls from large, monopolistic companies like #ColgatePalmolive, #Unilever and #ProcterAndGamble were amazed to hear CEOs and CFOs boasting about how they were able to use the *excuse* of #inflation to raise prices..."
