I downloaded my monthly bank statement and of course they demanded I complete a survey. I explained my maximally negative response:
"I know that, like all large corporations, Citi is always looking for excuses to fire more workers. So: Find the blood-sucking ghoul who thinks that insisting on survey work is appropriate retaliation for simply downloading a monthly statement. Fire them into the sun. Along with all upper management who think these surveys are appropriate."

Dear #CitiBank, please rename your "Manage payments" menu item to "View Payments," as you cannot manage payments from that screen, you can only view them. This means I go there to approve, fund, and release payments, but I cannot do that. "View" and "Manage" are not the same thing to me. When I go to "manage" a payment, I expect to be able to DO SOMETHING with it, not just view it.

Previously you were able of generate a CC and customize:
- maximum allowed charges
- expiration dateNow you have fixed amounts and the expiration date is always 3 years in advance. This feature was important for me because I was able to set a date and forget about for services I had no plans to continue working with more than a certain date - like those 3 months trial periods. Now I have to remember to manually deactivate those virtual numbers >:(

#Citibank emailed me an alert. The same bank that constantly warns me about email scams. And, yet, they misconfigured their email so it comes as a spoofed email. My email provider delivered it anyway because Citi has a "relaxed" policy in their DNS that says that EMAIL FROM A SPOOFING SERVER CAN BE DELIVERED so long as the signature passes. Yep, servers spoofing them are not a major red flag and the email should be delivered to the inbox anyway. The email provider is not to blame here.
A major bank should not do it this way.
The spoofing SMTP server check failed because the sending IP address is not authorized by Citibank's SPF record for info6.citi.com to send their email. This has been going on for years. Do you want Citibank email from a server not authorized by them to send it?
This relaxed attitude by corporations is why people get scammed.
