It somehow seems very Canadian that the "huge Canadian grocery companies are illegally overcharging/underweighting meat again after they got caught a year ago and promised they'd solved that 'error'" scandal is getting less press than the "some maple syrup producer in Quebec got caught selling fake maple syrup containing >50% cane sugar" scandal.

But another thing that I've noticed is that so many products are coming from very few companies.
