Ich versuche aktuell einen #NanoPi R5S zu kaufen. Egal, wo ich schaue, kommen die Teile immer aus #China. Entweder sind es Direktversender oder chinesische Plattformen. Aber auch wenn ich bei #Amazon oder #eBay schaue sieht es so aus, das der Versand immer aus China kommt.
Es sieht so aus, als ob es für die Teile keinen deutschen, oder wenigstens europäischen, Distributor gibt.
Eigentlich will ich nicht direkt in China bestellen. Zum einen die Zusatzkosten. #Zoll (nur 3€), Einfuhrumsatzsteuer, Gebühren des Transportdienstleisters. Zusätzlich die Wartezeit und wenn was nicht passt wird der Support Null sein.
Hat irgendwer eine Idee, wo ich noch schauen könnte um Versand aus China zu umgehen? -

Da sucht man etwas bei eBay, weil man nicht bei Amazon bestellen will. Klickt auf Filter "gewerbliche Verkäufer" - und schwups zeigt eBay einen Haufen private Verkäufer an.

While this corporate crime was indeed dumb, it was also horrifying -- both in the acts themselves, and in the resulting "punishments" for those involved. All of the fines, to both the company and the individuals, were barely slap-on-the-wrist levels, and all of the executives landed safely on their feet. This is what it looks like when literal gangsters are running everything.

Guten Morgen 🌄 Gestern etwas geknickt zu früh in die Heia. Die Post kommt seit Tagen nicht und ich kann weder am Solardach noch am Amiga weiterbasteln. Ich hoffe die gelbe Maus ist wieder gesund und kommt heute 🙏 oder jemand anderes 🫣
Dazu habe ich mir nach der Gehaltskürzung letzen Monat vorgenommen, so einiges bei #eBay ab einem Euro einzustellen - und ich verspreche, für den #C64 sind ein paar echte Perlen dabei 🥹 -

After lengthy and somewhat casual searching, I've found and purchased (eBay) an accelerator with (critically) a hardware disable for my Amiga 2000, a GVP G-Force 030 with 40MHz 68030/882.
It just occurred to me that, oddly, this will be the first 68030 that I've ever had in the house.
68000, 68010, 68020, 68040, 68060 - yes, but never a 68030.
(Currently using an A2620 14MHz 68020/882/851 in the CPU slot.)

I received a non-working item from an eBay purchase, I alerted the seller and received this response. The store is very old (account started in 1999) with 36K sales and a 99.6% positive feedback score. I did respond by submitting a return request, which is the next step in the process.

One site that I had forgotten it existed but now use it frequently: ebay. I can't believe the deals I am getting there for softball balls and other equipment. You have to forgo the near instant delivery you get from amazon but the price just can't be beat. I can get things brand new but let's say with damaged packaging for 50-40% off compared to what I would pay on amazon. And it's not all in auctions. You can find people just accepting offers on items. #ebay

One of my $2 items sold on #eBay. They have decided this seems like unusual activity, so they have escrowed the funds.
To be fair, it is unusual activity. I am not a big regular seller. Just another example of how modern commerce is hostile to the average person.
