For all users of #BambuLab printers who also use a #PandaTouch. This could be interesting.
I have developed a dock that is screwed to a #P1P or #P1S, “encloses” the original display and gives the Panda Touch a tilt mechanism like the one on the #X1C display.

I have been really struggling with supports for #3dprinting minis on this #bambulabs #p1p with the 0.2mm nozzle.
After a couple weeks of endless frustration, I've really learned how to do support painting in #bambustudio.
And a huge breakthrough has been overriding the default hollow trees to use an internal pattern. This allows even the "Tree Slim" setting to print strong trees without needing to swallow the entire mini.
Finally having some successes!

More mini testing with my #BambuLab #p1p.
Unfortunately there's a couple critical bugs in the Bambu Studio slicer right now that are killing me. Wall thickness setting for tree support is being ignored, and the branches come out very thin and break off mid-print (not to mention the nozzle dragging issue 😡)
But I was printing a zombie, and as #BobRoss said... happy accidents. It looks pretty great without arms... maybe even better!

Finally got around to trying my 0.2 nozzle on my #BambuLab #p1p.
I don't do a ton of minis but it's the perfect way to compare. The skeleton on the left is 0.4, on the right is 0.2.
0.2 is fully decent! It's proving really finicky though and I've had a lot of failed tries on anything needing supports.

This is an interesting idea, but even the #Ender3 has shown us that manufacturers will cut costs even for a few dollars. They would avoid using higher end screens, like the #P1P did, although the X1C vs P1P and #P1S screens are worlds apart.
Also using the same board would almost compromise the higher tier, providing less advantages for purchasing the "higher" tier printers. Although I do agree and build volume is a big thing in what determines the printer I would buy.
Bambu did the opposite by downgrading the screen, but keeping the volume and electronics the same for their cheaper printers.

I made a box for those things the #P1P spits out on every #3dprint.
Useless? Maybe. But it solves a #problem that I did not have before I had a #3dprinter.

AAAAAAAAAArgh. My #P1P complained that the print job was invalid. "Unable to verify Gcode."
I siwtched PCs, used different slicers, changed models, everything.
Turns out: Turning the #3dprinter off and on again fixed this.
I want my 2 hours back, please.

Anyone got a clue why these prints fail? printed on a #P1P with auto levelling, I got several very good results, but the recent prints all failed - with different models.
The infill looks okay, but the wall/ outer layer is weird.Printing FLA at 205°/60°, which yielded good results in the past.
