  24. FrankenWinder printed its first Benchy at @leigh_hackspace.

    Donated Artillery Sidewinder X1 from 3DQF, Hemera tool head from one of our members, E3D Volcano hotend, BLTouch, and Klippered.

    A few refinements to go (the current .8mm nozzle is a *bit* brutal, but all we had for the Volcano), but this is now looking serviceable.

    Oh, and we have a second machine and another Hemera, so ... building another.

    That gives us *three* large(ish) format printers, including the Voron 2.4.

    Too loose → ~20 mm layer shift mid-print.

    I used Gates Carbon Drive to tune belt “twang” frequency, then built a stress test suite to validate motion stability:

  41. Is there no way to attach and read a voltage sensor with Klipper? 🤔 This would be really useful…
    If course I could attach them directly to the SBC, but I can't find any way to display that input as voltage in Fluidd either.

  46. I have a new machine! I've wanted an enclosured, heated chamber, #opensource #klipper using machine for a while now. The Qidi Q1 pro are not the latest so they are pretty affordable. I've just done all the unbox and input shaping calibration etc and my personal tradition is to print a rocket nosecone on any new #3Dprinter! I'll blog on it soon.
