@spicewiesel I have a 3DPrinting #prusa core one gen 1 but I made an agreement to open my gen 2 prusa core at Christmas but I don’t have index , is there a way I can help?

Are there any #CoreOne (*) #INDX owners here who can tell me whether I need to attach the spools to the side of the printer, or whether I can somehow position them above the printer instead? I don’t have enough space in my print chamber to have the spools on the side of the printer.

Sigh, it's fix your tools Saturday apparently.

Yesterday my MK4S decided to make a closer acquaintance with a head cleaning tower that had come off the print sheet. I didn't instantly notice what had happened, just cleaned it up and restarted the print, only to have it make the plastic dragging sound it makes if there's a something sticking out of the print.

Here's the outcome, the print fan shroud was now missing a large chunk of it.

This is a known weak spot for the MK4S and Core ones, I've been lucky so far not to damage mine before.

Postupným plněním podmínek pro zisk Průšametrů jsem se dopracoval k možnosti vyměnit je za tři cívky Průšamentu. Dobrá práce oni, odměna za uživatelský obsah je fajn věc. Nejvíc jsem dostal za model klipsu s ráčnou, který vznikl vlastně mimochodem jako vedlejší produkt pro #ponožkátor. Dneska jsem dorazil zbývající dva za jeden výtisk a rovnou vybral kupón. Teď to někdo bude až čtrnáct dní schvalovat 😳. To jako vážně? #Průša si vyrábí různá udělátka pro každou blbost ve výrobě, ale elektronický benefitní program obsluhují lidi ručně? 🤯 Takhle tu světovou dominanci bude dosahovat dost těžko...

I like to share every example of this. Prusa comes up with another upgrade that makes the printing process better. Did they save it to sell more new models? No. They’re making it available for just a few bucks to everyone who already owns their printers.

At first it died mid-print with an error code about binary gcode, now it chokes on firmware update too.

@harris because the #prusa core is meant for the INDX from bond tech for #3dprinting multiple thermoplastic filaments

@rridley Building a #Voron makes sense if you want to have more control/selection over which components to have. Otherwise, #Prusa #CoreOne+ is a great choice, especially with #INDX! (You can get a kit, if you insist on assembling the printer 😜).

I have a completely cursed 2018 #Ender3 sitting on the floor in my garage 😆

...but my main machine is a Sovol SV-07 that I got a couple years ago.

It's a bit flawed, a little bit buggy on the software side, but it's got Klipper and it prints decently reliably and fast. It has mesh bed leveling and bed springs, for some silly reason. But I don't print very often, and for the most part, it just works.

A #Prusa #CoreXY would be crazy cool, but they're out of my price league. ;)

So far I've greased my MK4S' and Mini+'s axis rods with a q-tip, which is a bit annoying as there's always possibility of getting some on the belts in the X-axis.

So I made this simple tool. It can do both sides of the rod without making a mess. Just put a tiny amount of grease on both sides of this hook, push it against the rod and move sideways, then pull and do the other side. Takes just seconds compared to messing around with a q-tip.

I'll probably make a larger version for the Z-axis too in the near future, I'll probably add it under the same item as this 8mm version.

EDIT: Now there's the 10mm version as well.

Just checked out fedex’s tariff refund portal for the idiotic illegal tariffs - and happy to see $360+ from the Prusa XL I ordered last year. Makes me almost want to buy a Core One+ kit. Also have a coupon and prusameters 😳

Just don’t really have a “need” for another printer.

The rest of the world chose PA6 and PA12. Prusa have been making PA11 filament for years, but not PA6 or PA12.

If PA11 is great, why does nobody else use it?

In case you're curious, here's a short clip of the Prusa camera in action. It's exposed as a RTSP source to LAN, I have a script that uses mpv to view all my 3D printer cameras in my workspace.
