Wenn man erst einmal so tüchtig krank ist wie ich, mit mehreren chronischen Sachen und einer im letzten Jahr erworbenen Herzschwäche, dann kommen da schon so einige Medikamente zusammen, die man dann nehmen darf, um am Leben zu bleiben.
Wozu man aber so gar keine Lust hat, ist jeden Tag Zeit damit zu verbringen, die ganzen Medikamente in eine Pillenbox zu drücken. Deshalb also die Box für 7 Tage. #3D #3DPrinting #BambuLab #Makerworld #PillenOrganizer

Trying to trigger a filament runout now so I don't have to come down and do it later. You can't load filament whole a print is going; you can only replace a spool that has run out. Takes forever when you have 5-6 feet between the AMS and the tool head.
We're past the hub now, so that's nice.

New AMS is throwing motor overload errors today, despite printing fine yesterday. Only thing I changed was using a shorter PTFE between the hub and toolhead. Hoping that’s all it is.
Or maybe it’s not the length of the tube, but the interior diameter…

Also für das allererste Druckprojekt nicht schlecht oder? Ist jetzt bestimmt das stylischste Teil im Badezimmer 😅
Hab ich in #tinkercad gebaut. Bin überrascht, wie stabil das geworden ist und dass das Zusammenstecken so krass gut funktioniert hat.

@stereo4x4 @Stanok @necrosis klasse, je mehr sich da und bei den Verbraucherzentralen melden, desto größer wird der Druck.
Man muss sich nicht alles gefallen lassen.
Das Volkswagen auch die offene API für #homeassistant zu Gunsten einer „Lösung mit ausgewählten Anbietern“ also auch ein Vendor-Lock gekappt hat, ist bekannt?
#BambuLab hat mal bei 3D-Drucker versucht, andere Software auszusperren.
Das wurde sehr schnell sehr laut.

Kaffee gehört für meine Frau und mich seit Jahren zum Alltag dazu. Früher, während unserer Zeit im Schichtdienst, war der Fokus recht simpel: Der Kaffee musste wach machen oder wach halten. Da war die Bohne fast Nebensache, solange die Wirkung stimmte. Über die Jahre hat sich das jedoch gewandelt. Heute steht für uns die Bekömmlichkeit und der eigentliche Geschmack im Vordergrund. Während ich meinen Kaffee meist klassisch trinke – mal stärker, mal schwarz, aber immer ohne Zucker – bevorzugt meine Frau Espresso, Latte Macchiato oder Cappuccino. Wir haben uns über Pad- und Kapselsysteme hochgearbeitet, bis wir schließlich bei Vollautomaten landeten. Glad I eeked out the two caps I needed before all hell broke loose in the AMS 2 Pro. I printed them with a 0.2mm nozzle using 0.08mm layers. Also the first time in the eight months with this #BambuLab H2S that I even took the shipping plastic off my smooth plate.
Not quite injection moulded quality, but as close as I'm going to get. Pleased with them and the color is close enough.
Rest of that spool goes in the trash.

Here's a picture of the broken filament that caused it all. It was entirely inside the sandwich that is the hub, stuck between one of those magnets and the extruder gear. None of it was visible or reachable without taking half the AMS Pro 2 apart.
The board you don't want to touch is on the back side of one of those halves and there's no reason to open it to deal with this problem. My mistake.

That makes it impossible for the magnets to sit in their slots for you to then insert the delicate little springs in behind them.
It occurred to me that I was fighting magnets attracting one another. What could combat that? A bigger f'ing magnet.
So I grabbed a larger powerful magnet I had, held it on the opposite side and that caused all the little jumping beans to now pull INTO their slots toward the bigger one. That allowed me to get the springs in place. 3/x

The second you remove it, the magnets rip one another out of their slots. Fortunately, the springs caught in the crossfire stuck to things and didn't vanish into the ether.
Then it's whack-a-mole. Each magnet pulls the other from its slot, so you can't hold them all at once. 2/x

I have been using a Bambu Lab A1 Mini with AMS lite.
A few months ago I switched to a Creality K1 + CFS.
From a multi-material printing view:
I am really surprised how easy, quick and headache-free was to use the AMS compared to CFS, which seems like an afterthought of an afterthought.
It is bulkier, much more complicated, using it is slower, dumber and less reliable than AMS.

Took the opportunity to pick up the A1 and look at the bottom cover. There’s a weird divot so I decided to remove it and look inside.
Tl;dr: seems fine, the mark is just a nipple thing left over from injection molding. No burn marks or anything as far as I can tell.
BTW, the left side of the cover (as viewed from the top) is glued on with some goop, so you have to just yank on it until you can get at the goop with a blade.
