Are apple M chips useable as daily drivers for linux now? If I can get work to pay, was considering upgrading my work issued Thinkpad X1 Carbon (G8) i7 for either (or both) an [M2 Mini Desktop](https://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/751780) or a [M1 MacBook Air 8c/7c](https://www.apple.com/au/shop/product/FGN63X/A/)
mostly for graphics improvement and possibly battery life and portability
