I'm the kind of autism that loves patterns, and I see AAA's failures being replicated in AA. I feel like the best advice I can give to aspiring devs is: make smaller games of the sort you like, and skip hiring out-of-touch corporate stooges. I know you likely can't afford their wages anyway, but still.

Turns out it *is* a new Divinity game that Larian is working on, and it looks amazing, not much is revealed by the first cinematic teaser, but I am here for the terrifying and mysterious 'Medieval Midsommar' vibe.
And, to be honest, after Baldur's Gate 3 and the level of attention they poured into the story, the characters, and the gameplay experience, I'd be invested in anything the studio planned next.
