Got to hang out with some of my favorite #JVM people tonight: @javawithjiva, @TonyPrintezis, @synec, @ysr1729, and John Cuthbertson. IMO #Azul, #Netflix, #AWS, #Apple, and #Rivos have some of the best #Java folks in the business.

Genuine curiosity:
RISC-V Vector seems a huge PITA for devs and implementers.
I have to wonder what would happen if someone like
#tenstorrent
or #RIVOS were to submit a sane SIMD ISA proposal, would that be picked up as a sane target?
