Few hours later, with watch that's almost the same (just "coral reef" colour instead of "coal black" or whatever they are called), and my mind is actually much calmer. So much so that I felt happy about reading a really cool manga and enjoyed it.
It's so weird to "suddenly" have much clearer mind.
And yes - I feel really silly about that. Also because in the middle of the day I discovered that using my hairband on my forearm to "simulate" the feeling of a watch actually helped in significant way (not completely, sadly).

It is quite interesting to see that I'm almost* out of kinda meltdown I had because of losing my watch/activity tracker. It got torn off my forearm last thursday's morning and I was feeling much worse since then. But I must also admit that #escitalopram works, because I feel like I couls redirect my attention away from spiraling, even if just for a moment.
The "feeling of nothing on my forearm"/"being naked" is annoying, as well as catching myself whenever I try to look there to check the time. Visit at the police station and conversation with insurance company also seem to affect how I feel.
The therapy session helped me to process the situation in some capacity and, even though I almost cried during it, I felt better after that talk.I plan to buy a new thingy today and hopefully tomorrow or on Friday I might feel (more) at ease again.

It was not a bad day. I expected worse. Work went OK'ish, even though there is a lot to do. And I got two yesterday's sweet pastries for free as the bakery was closing in few minutes and had a bag with them from yesterday (they try to sell those for cheaper one day later). But I should probably go to sleep before "almost 4AM". I kinda miss the first few weeks of #escitalopram when I was "unusally" sleepy before midnight. -

And for some reason my mood swings down now. And now, that I think about it, it was similar during week 3 of escitalopram, so perhaps I just need to last this week. 🤞

Quite "fun" to combine "the low swing" of mood (I hope I'm at the bottom now ffs) during the first month of using #SSRI with getting a negative hit of my self-worth. Xd
The most annoying part being that "logically" I am aware that those swings do not make sense, but still end up experiencing them. Xd Joys of being #ActuallyAutistic I assume... -

One of the weird things I've noticed after starting the #SSRI treatment is that I get more sleepy "at the right time" and I almost every night "have dreams". :blobfoxcomfy: :blobfoxsleep: It also includes nightmares, but still - it is somewhat interesting to me.

Does someone who knows stuff about #SSRI meds (doctors, people who used it) knows if the "dry in nose" side effect (and probably other) can start right from the first days, or is it also supposed to appear arkund the time when the meds should "start working" (after few weeks)?
It seems weird to me that it might take so long, but I also suspect that it might not show up right from the first dose. How is it, actually? :blobfoxthink:

Psykologene mine anbefalte meg å sjekke med min fastlege+DPS om medisinsk støtte for å komme meg ut av de(n) mental(e) lidelsen(e) jeg håndterer i det siste.
Det er stressende å lure på om det vil hjelpe eller ikke. Dels på grunn av samtalene om min psykiske helse, men også fordi jeg er bekymret for om språket mitt er godt nok til å avklare hva jeg tenker "inne i hodet mitt".

Nok en gang leste jeg noe interessant.
Denne gangen var det "Fastlegenes forklaringer" fra #BergensTidende.Jeg er stort sett enig i det disse fastlegene sa om #sykefravær, #sykmelding og #egenmelding. Jeg ble litt overrasket over å ikke treffe "betalingsmuren" der.

De siste par dagene vurderte jeg å skrive litt om nordmennene jeg hadde jobbet med i Norge. Det var en litt merkelig arbeidsplass, men når jeg ser på det fra nå av - er det litt sjokkerende også.
Så helt fra starten:
1. Den første kollega var en #Tesla+#ElonMusk-følger og prøvde å konvertere meg òg.
2. Den andre var en stor #JoeRogan-fan og anbefalte meg å se alle sannhetene han diskuterer i programmet sitt.
3. Den tredje fortalte meg en gang i en samtale med flere at jeg "er en av de gode innvandrerne, ikke som de fra Afrika og Asia"... :blobfox0_0: Han likte også å klage over "den falske globale oppvarmingen som er fabrikkert av pseudo-forskere". :blobfoxbreadsnoot:
4. Og til slutt... konsernsjefen der brukte et gammelt* engelsk rasistisk begrep mens han fortalte meg noe om kundene våre. :blobfoxdeadinside: Og han hadde "ny global istid kommer snart" brosjyrer liggende på kontoret. :blobfoxrage:Det var et spesielt selskap, må jeg si. Det jeg angrer mest på når jeg tenker på det, er at jeg skulle ha levert oppsigelsen mye tidligere... Men jeg var ung, dum og i et nytt land. :blobfoxsad:

I forgårs, etter paraden (en del av #Regnbuedagene i #Bergen), opplevde jeg en herlig og ekstremt søt situasjon. Ved #SkeivtArkiv s telt så jeg et gammelt homofilt par som så på et av bildene som ble vist der. En av hjelperne i teltet spurte lekent om de ser seg selv på de bildene og en av paret svarte: "Ja!". Det var utrolig å se den samme mannen på bildet fra paraden i 1983 stå rett foran oss i 2024. Regnbuedagene er nå over, men uansett vil jeg ønske alle: Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
