    i tried to tell him that chatgpt has no persistent state...it doesn't know anything... but he thinks we can trust jeffrey hinton!

    now he's doing HAL impressions (we're still on the phone) and telling me his theory that HAL actually killed the human crew because he was scared they were going to kill him first. he's urging me to watch it again (i've seen this movie a million times - including in a theater in SF! ...i saw it way too young as a little kid and it scared me and also left a huge impression. also, the russians in it were so classy! you knew it was scifi cuz they weren't like any of the russians/ukrainians that were around me in daily life. future russians were classy! 😆 ).

    Note : I have vibe coded this whole project cuz i am a lazy developer but i have checked code for any tweaks and fixes, surprisingly AI wrote code more efficiently and optimal.
