Ich hab nach verschiedenen kleineren und größeren Ärgernissen heute meinen #kaffee #Shop bei #shopify gekündigt und hoste ihn jetzt selbst (bzw. bei #hetzner).

- "Auszahlungen werden eingestellt"
- Frist 7 Tage
- Darstellungsfehler im FirmennameEXAKT GENAUSO wie ein Spammer es tun würde.

Together with the last post about #Shopify CEO who wants people to have voting rights based on paid taxes there is also a very interesting book from Prof. #RainerMühlhoff about the ethics of #Ai. Part of that is how it's inseparable from how current Tech Bros and billionaires are mostly interested in power instead of money any more and how the two are inseparable in their current state.

So, #Shopify CEO Tobias #Lütke, whose company commands a market capitalization near $154 billion, told his social media followers this week that a tax-tiered voting system—one that would strip #voting #rights from anyone who pays no income tax—would be a “good system.”
Under this proposed system, the disenfranchised bloc would encompass all retirees living on Social Security and pension income, students, caregivers, disabled Americans, and millions of low-wage workers who owe no net federal income #tax after deductions and credits. All so billionaires could have many votes. Like lobbying doesn’t exist.
Tying the right to vote to wealth or tax contribution has a name: “census suffrage,” or property-qualified voting which entrenched the political power of the already wealthy and locked out workers, women, and minorities from any say in the laws governing them.
We’re not going back. Fuck all of that. #Guillotines to the front, please.

Shopify's CEO's view of the poor is so distant from reality.
He thinks politics should only be decided by rich folk, like himself.
Suffice to say we have ample examples that you don't become rich due to having empathy, intelligence, or just cause.
Somehow complete loons keep becoming powerful enough to spout nonsense towards the everyman and idiots believe it.
That's basically the modern alt-right movement in a nutshell.
We should be taxing the rich to reduce their power.
