Really was a neat show by Ingrid Michaelson last night at the Golden State Theatre in Monterey.
Ingrid went bare-minimalist for this, accompanied by just a couple of friends (Allie Moss & Hannah Winkler), a keyboard, two guitars and a ukulele. Numbers were both as a trio, duos, and a couple of times, simply Ingrid.
It was very intimate, conversational, and warm. I'll be remembering it for a long time.

This will be the 3rd time we have seen her, and under some very different venues. The 1st being a small nightclub in Indianapolis, the 2nd at the legendary First Avenue in Minneapolis, and tonight at a classic Roaring 20's landmark.
While Ingrid isn't a musical superstar, she is remarkably talented and every time I've seen her perform it has been a treat.
