Ayer terminé de leer (por fin) la trilogía de La primera ley, de Joe Abercrombie. Digo por fin porque son tres tochos bastante aparentes, no porque haya sido una mala lectura. Más bien al contrario, me ha gustado mucho.
Me metí con ella después de leer Los diablos, libro que vi recomendado aquí, en Mastodon, y me gustó tanto que quise repetir con el autor. Y, al igual que en ese libro, aquí me he encontrado con unos personajes muy bien construidos, con sus aristas y sus pasados tortuosos, como debe ser. Ninguno de ellos es bueno del todo ni malo del todo. Son, sencillamente, personas, con sus defectos y virtudes (de estas últimas pocas, no nos vamos a engañar).
Mención especial para Sand dan Glokta, el personaje más amado y a la vez odiado que puedo recordar. Las descripciones de sus dolorosos amaneceres, cuando intenta levantarse de la cama, son espectaculares.
Y el final también se sale de lo típico. Aquí no entro en detalles por cuestión de espoilers, y tal, pero vale la pena.
No será el último libro que lea del bueno de Joe, me parece.

Llegamos al final del calendario y, como no podía ser de otro modo, volvemos a tener a #ProyectoAbniel. El capítulo 26 es precisamente el último de la novela y, aunque podría haber elegido muchos otros de otras novelas como favoritos, me he decantado por este por lo que me supuso para mí como escritora. Obviamente, al ser el último, es también el final de la novela, y es un final que estoy segura que diez años antes no habría escrito. Creo que mi instinto me dijo «esto tiene que acabar así, no hay otra manera», y tuve que hacerle caso, por mucho que yo era consciente de que no se trataba de un «buen final», pero era el final de esta historia. No había más.
Y hablando de finales, este es también el final del calendario de adviento (el opcional del día 25 no lo voy a hacer porque sencillamente no tengo ni un solo capítulo ambientado en Navidad 😅).
Espero que os haya gustado, la verdad es que yo me he divertido mucho haciéndolo (y en algunos casos sufriendo también porque no sabía qué elegir :NKO_sudor: ).Lo dejaré un tiempo fijado en mi perfil por si queréis echarle un vistazo :bun_happy:

Las cosas como son, no tengo muchas escenas spicy. Las tramas románticas de mis novelas suelen ser más bien secundarias. Además, este tipo de escenas me parecen muy difíciles de escribir y que queden bien.
Pero hay una excepción, una novela donde precisamente la trama romántica es principal (o al menos supone el 50% de la novela) y donde sí hay alguna que otra escena picantona: #ProyectoAbniel
De esta escena ya he hablado en alguna otra ocasión. Es una escena que me encantó y me costó escribir a partes iguales :NKO_sudor:
