Here's a little🧵of before/after photos of the waffle weave project. All drafts come from Strickler's 8-shaft pattern book, so the numbers of the drafts refers to that.
The first is 512. The depth of the cells was among the smallest of the bunch after washing. I love how the cells in the front look like little rose buds and on the back they look like mums or some other larger flower. Shrinkage was 26% in width and 21% in length.

The Hack That Exposed Hollywood’s Most Private Photos
In 2014, private photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and more than 100 other celebrities were leaked online in one of the most infamous privacy breaches in internet history.
The incident, dubbed "The Fappening," wasn't the result of sophisticated hacking techniques. Instead, attackers used convincing phishing emails disguised as Apple security alerts to trick victims into handing over their login credentials.
What followed was a massive invasion of privacy, exposing just how easily personal information could be stolen and how nearly impossible it was to erase once it spread online.
This is the story behind the scandal that shook Hollywood and raised serious questions about digital privacy.

An amazing day. I will update with some photos tomorrow. I am too pooped.
But it was wonderfully creative, I was making things and hanging out in one of my favourite places with lovely friends and peers.

Google has rewritten its privacy policy so connected Gmail, Photos and Drive data can now shape personalised ads in AI Mode, and it is testing ads for users who opt into Personal Intelligence in Gemini. Apparently, my “quick look around” needed a few more photos. 😇
A few more moments from my weekend at Heldenplatz in Vienna: a closer look, another conversation, and one more stop before leaving.
Are you a quick-look person, or do you end up asking all the questions too?
