After god knows _how_ long, I've finally, _finally_ been able to run a #JUnit5 test using only module paths. No class paths anywhere. Everything, as far as I can understand, is properly modularized.
I'm not convinced everything is 100% right. But at least I got _something_ running.
I resorted to javac and java commands in shell scripts. Getting this running in #Maven and #VisualStudioCode is a whole other story. I'm not sure I can.

Two weeks ago I promised a blog post about the process we use for automating code samples verification in our #evitaDB documentation and now I'm keeping that promise.
The approach described, which takes advantage of #JUnit5 dynamic testing and #JShell REPL, looks like a novel approach. I haven't been able to Google any other project that documents something similar.
So if you have a similar use case, read on and get inspired.

The documentation on #evitaDB https://evitadb.io/documentation/index is getting bigger and bigger. The more examples we add, the more we're afraid they'll become obsolete or broken. How do we tame this beast of hundreds of examples?
Fortunately, #Java provides a JShell REPL that allows you to interactively enter, and run Java source code. The JShell can also be run automatically and #JUnit5 allows to create dynamic tests. Combining these two features we've created an automated test suite. Blog post coming.

Hablamos de género pero... ¿Que es el género?
El género es la construcción sociológica que decide que identidad tenemos y nos obliga en base a ella a ser, actuar, expresarnos y presentarnos al mundo de una forma determinada y prefijada e incluso pretende determinar nuestra sexualidad, al tratar de definir nuestros roles familiares y sociales.
En palabras de Oyèrónkẹ́ Oyěwùmí: “El género se construye socialmente y esta atado a la historia y la cultura”. No en todas las culturas ni momentos de la historia se ha entendido igual. Existen distintos modos de construirlo, o incluso no hacerlo, y las menciones a categorías distintas al binario mujer/hombre son casi tan antiguas como la invención de la escritura.
En la actualidad, el binarismo de género mujer/hombre es la visión que predomina en la mayoría del mundo, debido en gran parte al imperialismo y el colonialismo que supusieron la destrucción de gran cantidad de culturas y la imposición de los valores y la moralidad cristiana a los pueblos ocupados.
Esta visión, que pretende ser universal, comprende el género como algo natural y biológico que determinan nuestros genitales al nacer y nos impone unos roles sociales y normas de conducta específicas. Esto es lo que Judith Lorber resumió como: “Los cuerpos físicos son cuerpos sociales” y es la base del sistema sexo-género.
Frente a esta visión, la “teoría de género” entiende que el género no es un hecho biológico, sino un fenómeno social, algo que creamos con nuestras acciones, expresiones y comportamientos, lo que Judith Butler entiende como la performatividad del género, que en sus propias palabras “solo es real en la medida en que es performado”.
Esto no niega la existencia del género, sino que lo transforma en una construcción social y variable, existiendo otras posibilidades y formas sociológicas de entender, construir o no construir el género, siendo la imposición binaria actual solamente una más de ellas; no una realidad objetiva ni absoluta.
