Battle of wills.
Zaz is so cross! She really didn't want her picture taken and did her best to make it almost impossible. She pretty much fought tooth and claw to make it hard to get this photo. She had just been fighting with a tail that didn't want to be bitten and legs that refused to be cleaned and then I came along with my phone and caught her out of sorts. She was going to make me pay and so it took about 15 photos to get this, finally! (Happily I got off mostly unscathed, don't worry.)

Zaz: Do you ever get the feeling you're being watched?
After her beauty sleep and a little hemp milk in a saucer (hemp milk is her favourite drink) Zaz suddenly became aware that she was already being watched. And there's nothing quite like the focus of a border collie who adores you.

As today is the kind of day when you are trying to serve up the cold baked beans at the same time as your cat decides to jump onto your shoulders and misses and lands in the pot of beans with her back feet and carries on to your shoulder and gets beans all over the kitchen and the floor and in your hair and on your clothes... Be glad if you have either beans or a cat. But not both.
