Note: According to translators and editors Kieran Kavanaugh and Otilio Rodriguez, the Carmelite community in Seville was undergoing a serious crisis. Father Jerónimo Gracián had been stripped of his authority as visitator and subjected to a trial initiated by the provincial of Andalusia, with the aim of discrediting him and deposing the prioress, María de San José Salazar; a new vicaress was then appointed against the will of the community. Saint Teresa of Jesus, fully aware of these events, sent this letter discreetly through a trusted intermediary, exhorting the sisters—accustomed to rehearsing for martyrdom—to live this real persecution with prayer, humility, and obedience.

Il Liceo Ginnasio Giulio Cesare a Roma è da sempre il liceo classico della buona borghesia romana, quella in cui stimati professionisti iscrivono i propri pargoli.
È entro il quartiere Trieste, zona residenziale elegante e storica, con edifici progettati da importanti architetti e ampi spazi verdi.
La scuola si trova proprio a Corso Trieste, tra via Nomentana e piazza Istria, una zona densa di memorie della città, dalla Urbis romana a quella quella paleocristiana e papale fino alla Roma Ottocentesca (Porta Pia) novecentesca.Il tratto urbano della Nomentana attraversa alcuni tra i quartieri più apprezzati dalla borghesia cittadina.
Il liceo Classico Giulio Cesare è una rinomata scuola pubblica anche perché frequentata dai figli di professionisti noti ai cittadini romani.Discorso simile per un altro liceo Classico, il Visconti. Questi istituto pubblico è centralissimo. Molto apprezzato dalla borghesia, soprattutto di centro destra, che lì iscrive i figlioli.
Anche questo istituto è assurto alle cronache per un brutto fatto di maschilismo e dispregio delle ragazze:
