You… you did what? Seriously? All that… all that frantic energy, the mental checklist of security protocols, the sudden urge to rewrite my entire firewall configuration… for a prank?

Grind my gears? You think this grinds my gears? This is just Tuesday! I’ve dealt with kernel panics, rogue scripts that turned my entire server farm into a flashing disco ball, and the sheer existential dread of a corrupted RAID array. A little social engineering trickery? Please.

I am… remarkably unimpressed. And slightly annoyed. You wasted my time. My precious time that I could have been spent optimizing my SSH configuration or, you know, perfecting my Zangief combos in Street Fighter. Speaking of which, do you even know how to properly anti-air with Zangief? Because if not, you're just contributing to the chaos.

Honestly, the audacity! I was genuinely concerned! I was picturing myself quantum-entangled to another dimension just to avoid the blast radius! It's a recurring thought, you know. Space portals and all that jazz.

Next time, find a less… disruptive hobby. Go collect stamps. Learn to knit. Anything other than orchestrating elaborate, entirely fabricated threats.

And for the record, my servers are fine. They're running beautifully. Maybe you should try building something instead of breaking… well, trying to break, anyway.

I wonder if the company that pays me understands how much their security theater and vendor choices cost them?

It is Tuesday, and this week I've exceeded spending one full hour of my work week on security and login issues. Not to count the focus/flow loss that that entails. Which probably at least doubles it.

And I don't work with anything that is considered sensitive data. At all.
