    Od ostatniej aktualizacji przystawki telewizyjnej Apple minęły już niemal cztery lata. To wieczność w świecie technologii.

    Wygląda jednak na to, że cisza przed burzą dobiega końca. Według najnowszych doniesień 9to5Mac, wiosną 2026 roku zobaczymy zupełnie nowe Apple TV 4K, które ma być bramą dla AI w naszych domach (nie wszystkich, o czym za chwilę).

    Obecny model z 2022 roku, napędzany czipem A15 Bionic, wciąż radzi sobie doskonale ze streamingiem w 4K HDR. Po co więc zmiana? Odpowiedź jest prosta: Apple Intelligence.

    A17 Pro: mózg operacji

    Kluczową zmianą ma być przesiadka na procesor A17 Pro (znany z iPhone’ów 15 Pro). To absolutne minimum, by obsłużyć nowe funkcje sztucznej inteligencji. Apple chce, by Siri na dużym ekranie w końcu przestała być tylko prostym interfejsem do wybierania filmów. Nowy system (prawdopodobnie tvOS 26.4) w połączeniu z mocniejszym układem ma pozwolić asystentowi na rozumienie kontekstu, bardziej naturalną rozmowę i głębszą integrację z aplikacjami.

Istnieje duże ryzyko, że w Polsce zapłacimy „podatek od nowości” za potężny procesor A17 Pro, którego potencjału (w zakresie AI) nie wykorzystamy.

    Co nam więc zostanie?

    Gry. A17 Pro to potwór wydajnościowy. Jeśli Apple Arcade wreszcie dostanie tytuły konsolowe (jak Resident Evil czy Death Stranding), nowe Apple TV może stać się całkiem sensowną mikrokonsolą. Ponadto wspomniany czip N1 realnie poprawi działanie ekosystemu. Wybierając przyszłe Apple TV teoretycznie kupujemy sprzęt gotowy na zmiany – jeśli (lub kiedy) Apple dogada się z UE, będziemy gotowi.
