If you are poor, starting a buisness to escape poverty is near impossible. And that's intentional; You're instantly buried in mountains of 'red tape', expensive permits, and compliance laws designed to break you.

That endless bureaucracy isn't 'safety'; It's economic gatekeeping, it's designed to keep you poor while the rich only get richer.

So, if we called this a "prediction market" where you could use your skills and knowledge to try to ~~win~~ earn money, but you kept seeing shadowy figures in hats and dark glasses come out of a door marked "Staff Only", move to a table, place a large bet, win handsomely, and then immediately disappear through the Staff Only door again, would you consider it a safe place to ~~play~~ invest your money?

Or would you look around, realize you can't spot the sucker, and recognize that that means you're the sucker?

These things absolutely should be illegal in Canada.

Under new orders from the #DOJ’s Board of #Immigration Appeals, judges have been refusing to grant bond hearings & are dismissing cases at the govt’s request so that defendants can be arrested.
