Pleased to say that I did my Sunday morning ride! 😃🚴‍♀️ As a reward, I had a chicken burger. 😋🍔

Saw something interesting today. I've done my riding a few times in that neighborhood but today I looked up and saw a huuuuuge statue of what looks like #SaintMary holding baby #Jesus, on top of what would have been a home on a residential street, but is now apparently owned or used by a religious entity.

Last night's ride around campus wasn't so hard. #PedalAssist really helps! 😄

The theme was scary stories. We stopped by buildings that are known (rumored) for #ghost sightings. 👻 #UrbanLegends

The highlight was dinner and happily hanging out at the very #bikeFriendly #UniversityHotel after the ride. 🤪🍻☕

@ascentale @enobacon #BikeNite A2b: Somewhere inbetween. What was life-changing for me was getting a #Brompton #foldingbicycle. Adding a #pedalassist #ebike conversion kit to it (many years after buying it) only made it even more useful, but not again really life-changing. It made me ride more often, farther distances (or at least more often also farther distances) and steeper inclines. It probably didn't lower the amount of calories I burn when riding a bicycle for me.

Somebody brought a test unit of this #BESV #PSF1 foldable #PedalAssist #eBike at Sunday's gathering. 🚴🚴🚴 The vendor had asked one of the group's prominent members to try it out and give a review.

Looks impressive.
The usual specs, i.e. 25kph etc.

Only 18kgs. 😃👍
But, no throttle. 😐👎

The price tag?
120k+ PHP 😳

What is the distance you would/could #bike in a day and still be comfortable* at the end of your ride?

By comfortable, I mean you're not so exhausted that all you want to do is sleep -- you still have energy to do stuff or go sightseeing.

Includes #bicycles, #unicycles, #trikes, #recumbents, #KickScooter, #pedelecs a.k.a. #eBikes with #PedalAssist... anything that uses pure/some human* pedal power.

Here are photos of #InternalGearHub (IGH) -- there is no derailleur.

I just realized now that what I saw was the giant hub for the recumbent's electric pedal assist. That's why it was huge. My photo of the recumbent bike is too pixelated. Can't really see the details there anymore.

But the owner did say that it's #IGH with #PedalAssist.

Oh, #BigBike is a 26" #MountainBike. 😃 It folds, but it's huge and heavy. Nothing like those Bromptons or Dahon #bikes.

My other #bike is #LilBlue, a 16" Japan surplus. It's a #foldie but also nothing like those fancy expensive ones. It has a basket and rear rack. I plan to use it for small errands and short trips 😁

I mostly practice with #BigBike. Feels more stable. Not easy riding on small wheels with no #PedalAssist, especially for li'l ol' me. 🙃

My best #BikeBuddy ride date ever! 🥰 So grateful they let me tag along. They even fetched me and then made sure I got back home alive. 😅

The whole trip was on #bikes! 🚴🚴🚴🚴 Didn't load my #bike in the car and drive to the ride location. Rode it all the way! If you know what a beginner* and 🐔 I am, that's pretty cool 😎

I was hanging out at a gathering of #foldies. This ICE (Inspired #Cycle Engineering) #PedalAssist #trike with a giant internal hub came. Apparently, it folds too! 😳
