Von Lutherstadt Wittenberg über den Fläming nach Brandenburg (Havel)
Zum letzten Tag des Urlaubs hatte ich mir eine Tour rausgesucht, bei der ich größere Abschnitte tatsächlich noch nicht gefahren bin. Das betrifft den R1 von Lutherstadt Wittenberg bis Klein Marzehns sowie die direkte Strecke von Bad Belzig bis Brandenburg (Havel). Erstere ist landschaftlich sehr schön (auch wenn es eine Umleitung gab. Die zweitere ist vor allem straßenbegleitend und keine gesonderte Ausflugsroute.

Gestern spätnachmittag bin ich mit dem #BromptonElectricGLine von Zürich zum alljährlichen (dieses Jahr wieder wegen #Waldbrandgefahr Nicht-)Grilltreff der @lugschweiz nach Winterthur geradelt und nachts auch wieder zurück. Zusammen waren's 54km und 387hm. Hatte zwar zur Sicherheit 'nen zweiten Akku dabei, aber der erste ging erst kurz vor zuhause leer.
Letzte Nacht noch um den Flughafen geradelt, insofern 82km und 606hm innert 24h.

Reisevorbereitungen. Der erste Versuch, einen Rucksack auf dem hinteren Gepäckträger des Bromptons zu befestigen hat grundsätzlich funktioniert, überzeugt aber nicht vollständig.
Wird wohl auf eine Querstange hinten am Sattel montiert 'rauslaufen, über den der Rucksack mit den Schultergurten gehängt wird.

Dites les gens qui font du #velo, vous avez un avis ou des retours sur les #selles #brooks et en particulier la gamme #cambium ? (Le cuir c’est chouette mais j’ai pas envie de passer du temps sur l’entretien). La C17 me tente pas mal pour mon #brompton et remplacer celle d’origine pour gagner en comfort. Je l’ utilise en vélo de ville et des balades de 30/40km max.

Ich kann es nur empfehlen, für alle die sich nicht sicher sind, oder nur Testen wollen, ob #Pendeln mit #Bahn und Rad nicht eine Option sind. Denn für ein Faltrad müsst ihr kein extra Ticket buchen.
Das Brompton kommt mit einem mittleren Lenker, 6 Gängen und ist ansonsten verkehrssicher mit einer Lichtanlage ausgestattet.

While preparing changing the rearwheel tire of my '94 Brompton, i discovered one of the washers was broken. These (2) fix the axis. Replacing it was not that easy: new ones are 2mm wider and, the mechanic forgot to tell me, .5mm thicker. After removing 2mm from both forks, the tensioner would not only not fit, but the nut for fastening it would not pick up the bolt. After removing .5mm of plastic from the tensioner things are fine now. Small jobs don't exist. #brompton

My Intercity train got cancelled due to the heatwave, so I had to take 2 regional trains.
The first train was packed like #Tetris at the end game!
I stopped in Narbonne for more than an hour, so I had time to meet a good friend for an ice cream.

Gut dass ich gerade Urlaub habe … Rücklicht an Rad geht nicht. Kabel zu kurz für den vom Hersteller gedachten Weg 🤯 … habe es auf kürzerem Weg wieder einbauen können und nur vorn die Schrauböse neu machen müssen.
Ich bin aufs Fahrrad angewiesen. 😉
