Und der geile Sattel ist nun auch am #Brompton

In other news, I now have a second hand #Brompton from 2007, in mint condition. It's a three speed, which works, but of course has big gaps between gears. Quite like the look of https://www.kinetics-online.co.uk/folding-bikes/brompton/brompton-alfine-kits/ , even though that costs more than I paid for the bike!!

I have also serviced my wife's Brompton (new chain and sprockets), so we are equipped to take the caravan and be mobile without driving!

Heute wieder beim #mdRnH #rausgeschafft, diesesmal wieder mit dem #Brompton H6RD als Biobike und dem #ThermalTake #TT100 Fronttaschenrucksack vorne dran. Die Rücklichter von der gestrigen Montage hinten habe ich noch drangelassen, aber nicht eingeschaltet. Bin in Seebach wieder zum #Katzenbach, diesem bis zum Unterdorf von Affoltern gefolgt und dann grob auf der Südseite der Bahn entlang heim. Knapp 8km und 50hm bei #Dämmerung.

Da ich gestern beruflich mit 'm Rad zwischen versch. Campussen unterwegs war, bin ich mit dem #BromptonElectricGLine #mdRzA. Der neue #ThermalTake #TT100 Rucksack, der um 90° gedreht auch eine #Brompton Fronttasche ist, passt natürlich nicht an ein #BromptonElectric und so hatte ich Gelegenheit, auszuprobieren, wie er sich hinten an einem #EerderMetaal #SeatPostHugger macht. (Gut. 😊) Habe auch noch #MagicShine Rücklichter dran geclipst. Retour dann #mdRddG um den #Katzensee #rausgeschafft. ∑26km

J’avais lu que la transmission 6v du #brompton était problématique, du coup je l’ai pris en 12v et franchement pour l’instant c’est nickel 👌

S'il y a des gens à #Dijon #Besançon ou pas loin qui roulent en #Brompton et qui ont un sac qui se clipse sur le truc du guidon, est-ce que vous seriez prêt-e à me le prêter contre bons soins la dernière semaine d'août?

Ce matin, j'ai laissé le #gravel et repris le #Brompton.
Quand même, la légèreté, l'efficacité, le confort des grandes roues... Et la transmission Ultegra, quel pied à côté des 6v mal étagées du Brompton.
En fait, si j'arrivais à monter de bons garde-boue et mettre un guidon plus haut, plus touriste sur le gravel, il serait parfait.

Il est quand même cool ce #gravel... Bon, il y quand même eu 1 fois où je ne pensais plus à déclipser les chaussures des pédales, mais comme c'est réglé très souple, ça a été rattrapé.
Sinon, faut le laisser dehors, et c'est pénible d'enlever la caméra, le feu avant, etc. à chaque fois. Tout laisser sur le #Brompton parce qu'il est avec moi facilite la vie. Ou alors faut que je fasse accepter à la boite que c'est normal qu'il y ait un vélo dans les bureaux...

Kaum ist der Urlaub mit @Radlerin wieder vorbei, falle ich wieder in die AST-Zeitzone (Axel Standard Time 😉) zurück: Kurz vor Mitternacht zu einer #Radtour mit dem #BromptonElectricGLine #rausgeschafft, um den #Bikestreak (Tag 83) nicht zu unterbrechen. Wusste anfangs überhaupt nicht, wie weit oder wohin, bin einfach mal am #Katzensee vorbei und in Adlikon dann spontan nach Dielsdorf und dann mal wieder um den Flughafen drumherum. Wurden dann 39km, 285hm.

Bon, c'est vrai que la version luxe serait de m'offrir un #Brompton T Line. Je gagnerai encore 2kg.
Mais je perdrai la qualité de la transmission Ultegra, et la capacité à absolument tout faire du gravel...

These are the last photos from my exploration. It was a lovely moment, enjoying the sunset at the end of my ride. I took the last train to Brussels at around 23:00 and arrived home after midnight!

Tiens, ce matin, lubie : je laisse le #Brompton à la maison, et je vais au bureau avec mon #gravel (trop peu utilisé depuis quelques années).
2kg de moins sur la balance, une efficacité autre (malgré les pneus un peu trop typés chemins pour ce trajet routier), ça donne 10% de temps de trajet gagné.
C'était bien sympa 😍 😍 😍

@ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A1: Posting from Zurich, Switzerland after a hiatus of several BikeNites, mostly due to being tired on Fridays and busy on the weekends.

My GF has a #Chike #cargobike she bought as car replacement but doesn't use it much. And since I know I can ride my #Brompton Electric G-Line with studded tires all winter and not just on snowy or icy days, my Mr. #Winterbrompton kinda got unemployed. And I have an old foldable bike trailer I dislike for its hitch.

@jfparis @ascentale @hazz223 @bikenite as far as i can tell the old #brompton e-bikes were pretty bad (motor in front hub) but the new ones are better. I don't like the idea of the battery on the front block, does the swytch kit change that?

Heute zweimal mit @Radlerin #rausgeschafft, einmal eine spontane Runde mit dem roten #Brompton H6RD und Mr. #Winterbrompton (mit Sommerpneu 😁) um die Fotos der alten Traktoren in https://chaos.social/@xtaran/117095221609708898 zu machen und einmal ein für mich mit über 5km eher langer Spaziergang durch #Oerlikon. Ausserdem habe ich heute morgen noch ein paar Dinge mit dem Brompton Electric G-Line erledigt. Dabei ist https://chaos.social/@xtaran/117094015147384236 entstanden.

Dneska teda celkem s nájezdem i po městě 37km.
Nakonec se mi nechtělo čekat hodinu na vlak, takže jsem si prodloužil cyklo cestu o ~12km.
