This weekend I will ride my 20 year old Ti mtb race bike rebuilt as a gravel machine. Super excited, repurposed 9 spd Durace sti levers, bought locally used beautiful 700c/650b carbon wheels, hydraulic/cable brakes and adaptors from Aliexpress #BikeTooter #Bikes

The mission was hella fun. I added a stop for snack shopping and then the longer shore leave was a picnic in the Alewife Brook Reservation, which was a great place to stop and hang out and be in nature with a bunch of weird bike freaks. There was also a stop in Davis to make a small shrine to pTerry; at some point I need to replace the framed photo with something more weather-durable. We ended up with seven children on the mission which was rad as hell.

I planted strawberries, mint, tomatoes, squash, and nasturtiums (my favorite flower) in the pots and planters on top.

Nächster Planungsschritt der nächsten #radreise. #Fahrradmitnahme im belgischen Nahverkehr. Bis jetzt dachte ich ,das sei alles ganz einfach, weil mir in der DB App problemlos zig Verbindungen füe zwei Personen mit zwei #bikes angezeigt werden.
Erst wenn man in die Buchung weitergeht kommt der Hinweis "Fahrradmitnahme ist im Angebot nicht berücksichtigt."

#EducateMePlease Last Saturday I got a new #battery for Big Bike ⚪️🚲⚡️. The old 10Ah 🔋 is 5 years old.
Turns out the battery casing can hold up to 15Ah (newer type of 🔋, bigger cells). So I had them put 15Ah in -- the old cells they took out and put in a bag to serve as backup.
I'm a little concerned because the display shows the Voltage constantly going up and down by a tenth, e.g. from 53.1 to 53.2 to 53.1 to 53.0 etc. Even when parked.
Is that normal? #eBike shop guy says it is. 😕
