The paper introduces a multilayered framework that integrates PLOS/BLOS models with the 15-minute city concept. Developed within the CITWIN research project, it supports more holistic and scalable assessments for #walkable and #bikeable cities.

#Photos from Sunday's #bicycle event calling for a stop to the removal of the #ProtectedBikeLanes on Ayala Ave #MakatiCity #Philippines.
We might say the event was a success, considering that they planned it only Friday. Little time to spread the word.
The turnout was a disappointment for me. I imagined we could at least fill a block of Ayala Ave. I had hoped a lot of people would show up. But, no. My estimate was that there were only about 200.
Oh well. We tried.

After last week's #wemap webinar, the #OpenStreetMap contributors in #Mandaue in the #Cebu region are now collecting #Mapillary street-level imagery, with the goal of documenting and working on to improve the open map data for biking infrastructure in the city.
With fresh imagery, they are taking advantage of computer vision to detect objects: traffic signs, bike racks, speed limits, etc.
