Quelles sont les bonnes pratiques en 2026 en matière de rédaction en #LaTeX ?
Je dois préparer un gros dossier et je profite de l'occasion pour m'y remettre (je suis en SHS et tout se fait en .docx/.odt) mais je réalise que je suis bien rouillé et j'oscille entre le faire nativement dans #Overleaf ou travailler dans #Obsidian et utiliser #Pandoc pour l'exportation en PDF (ou en LaTeX et ensuite faire des ajustements dans un éditeur tiers ?). Je vais avoir beaucoup d'entrées bibliographiques pour ma liste de publications (toutes recensées dans #Zotero), des notes de bas de page, etc. J'ai l'impression que si je me lance à l'aveugle, je vais devoir changer plusieurs fois de stratégie 🤔

Weil Overleaf einfache Zeilenumbrüche in meinem Manuskript erstmal nicht erkannt hat, habe ich gestern viel rumprobiert.
Jetzt hoffentlich die fast automatisierte Lösung für einen schönen Buchsatz mit gemischten Absätzen: Einzügen bei Dialogen, Absätze ohne Einzug bei Szenenwechsel.
(Kapitel und Unterkapitel mit Überschriften werden extra behandelt – mit den gängigen Befehlen.)Bin gespannt, ob es wirklich in allen Fällen im Text funktioniert! 🤞 😅

Wen es interessiert, hier die Screenshots wie es vorher war und was Overleaf daraus gemacht hat und wie ich halt jetzt mit richtigen Absätzen das Ergebnis erziele, das ich eigentlich haben wollte. Also die richtige Formatierung für Dialoge.
Das schien mir nicht zu gehen, ohne, dass ich den Quelltext anpasse.

@naoEhAlexa eu nunca entendi porque o #overleaf tem toda essa popularidade. A menos que o arquivo precise ser compartilhado por muitas pessoas, eu sempre prefiro usar uma instalação local do #LaTeX, que me deixa com controle total da situação.

We (CompSci/Engineering folks which have no issue in principle with LaTeX) had a bit of a discussion of buying an #Overleaf subscription or license, which I’m highly critical of, partially because nobody could tell me yet how much it costs.
Oh, and which problem it solves. “Everybody else is using it” also applies to cocaine, so it’s mostly not having git merge conflicts, it’d seem. No one seems to be using simultaneous editing, though.
Investigation ongoing. @teamtype + LaTeX when? 😇

We (CompSci/Engineering folks which have no issue in principle with LaTeX) had a bit of a discussion of buying an #Overleaf subscription or license, which I’m highly critical of, partially because nobody could tell me yet how much it costs.
Oh, and which problem it solves. “Everybody else is using it” also applies to cocaine, so it’s mostly not having git merge conflicts, it’d seem. No one seems to be using simultaneous editing, though.

What are you using (or considering) as Overleaf alternatives? The writing has been on the wall with overleaf in terms of enshitification for a while now, and I'd rather have a headstart. Also, I am not publishing or reviewing with Elsevier/RELX, so should get rid of Overleaf at some point anyhow.
I've dabbled in hosting https://github.com/overleaf/overleaf myself, but I'd rather pay an ok company to stand up this type of tooling for me, to be honest.

Meine Kollegen und ich haben eine Anleitung geschrieben für das Deployment der Overleaf Extended Community Edition (inklusive LDAP) ohne Docker.
Setup ist ziemlich easy und funktioniert super in production. Vielleicht kann es ja jemand brauchen außer uns.

In unsere #TeXLaTeX-Vorlage für die studentischen Kurzberichte bzw. Paper im #LEGOPraktikum2026 habe ich jetzt auch mal ein Beispielfoto hinzugefügt, das die Nutzung des \includegraphics-Befehls aus dem graphicx-Pakets zeigt.

Fixes `push` failures (`folder_not_found`) when Overleaf's cached root folder ID is stale. Root folder resolution now uses Overleaf's collaboration socket as authoritative source, with automatic retry on failure.
Also: E2E tests are now portable across projects + new regression test coverage.

The documentation for #Overleaf says that Git integration is a premium feature, but I noticed it doesn't actually have the "Premium" button next to it on the settings page. Could it be the documentation is wrong and my non-premium account actually has git integration? ...
... yes! It works! My coauthors can continue to voluntarily suffer the indignities of Overleaf's editor¹ while I bask in the glory of #Emacs!

Od dłuższego czasu chodziło mi po głowie, żeby mieć własny pakiet office w chmurze. Znaczy w domu.
NextClouda mam postawionego na FreeBSD i, niestety, wszystkie pakiety jednak preferują Linuksa i nie bo nie. A nie chce mi się z koniem kopać, więc temat odpuściłem.
Linuksa miałem na innym komputerze, ale słabym sprzętowo. Po wymianie linuksowego sprzętu na lepszy powrócił temat Offica. No ale znów NX na Free a Office na L? No jak to tak?
I wczoraj wieczorem, już smażyłem gwiazdy, bo niebo wyjątkowo czyste było, przyszło olśnienie.
A dziś zrealizowałem.
Własna instancja Overleaf! Przecież to takie proste. A że głównie ten „ofis” miał być pod kątem edycji prostych tekstów...
… i trochę mniej prostych:

The #overleaf git interface could use some love, because commit messages like "Update on Overleaf." are a total waste of opportunity. Why not indicate by who, and at which sections/subsections in the commit message?

in case you were ever looking for a pure \(\LaTeX\) way to count words within sections in a document, this solutions works really well AND works in Overleaf
