Got rid of Typora in favor of iA writer for all my markdown writting, which is becoming a preferred writting medium, followed by tex for paper writting. Have to prepare paperwork to begin paying my PhD student's scholarship and that will be done using MS software because of the available forms format and the standard of work at the Uni's admin sections.

He he, my co-author begun their assessment on our first draft of a paper by allegedly citting some professor's best response is similar cases: *it's good, but not hopeless*.
We got it corrected and we submitted it yesterday.

Auf der Titelseite wurde das Fakultätslogo aus der eingescannten Aufgabenstellung als schiefe Rastergrafik genutzt, obwohl man das Logo natürlich auch auf der Webseite (https://www.cd.ovgu.de/Fakult%C3%A4ten/Elektrotechnik+und+Informationstechnik.html) oder sogar ganz einfach in unserer #TeXLaTeX-Vorlage (https://de.overleaf.com/latex/templates/guidance-on-the-preparation-of-degree-theses/zvbvgkspxsvh) findet.

Ein Komma in der gleichen Tabelle einmal als Tausendertrennzeichen und nur eine Zeile später als Dezimaltrennzeichen zu verwenden, sollte mit lebenslangem Berufsverbot für Statistik bestraft werden. 😉

Tja, was macht man nun in einem solchen Fall. Ist das alles #AIslop oder sind das einfach nur sehr ungenau arbeitende Autor*innen, die hier ein paar Namen, DOIs und Abkürzungen durcheinander gebracht haben?
Ist das ein schwerwiegender Fall von wissenschaftlichem Fehlverhalten und Verstoß gegen die wissenschaftliche Integrität und sollten die entsprechenden Autoren von zukünftigen Veröffentlichungen ausgeschlossen werden, oder nicht?

What are you using (or considering) as Overleaf alternatives? The writing has been on the wall with overleaf in terms of enshitification for a while now, and I'd rather have a headstart. Also, I am not publishing or reviewing with Elsevier/RELX, so should get rid of Overleaf at some point anyhow.
I've dabbled in hosting https://github.com/overleaf/overleaf myself, but I'd rather pay an ok company to stand up this type of tooling for me, to be honest.
