A note on #Microsoft's "#Recall" feature, the #blowback its announcement caused due to it being a #security and #privacy disaster, and their #WalkItBack attempt by announcing it will, after all, be #OptIn, rather than #OptOut.
Keep this in mind: Microsoft has not #earned your #trust. They made some strides starting in the mid-late oughts, but fell back into their previous ways starting some years ago.
You can see this in their constant selling-the-customer-down-the-river.

Scheint so, als ob auch #koelnMesse ein opt-out aus #responsibleDisclosure durchgeführt habe. Ab wann gilt eigentlich für alle Firmen in #Neuland ein #optIn? Es ist doch mittlerweile sehr offensichtlich, dass es in Deutschland wesentlich stressärmer ist, Fuck-Ups von Firmen irgendwo zu verkaufen oder einfach so anonym zu veröffentlichen, als diese der Firma mitzuteilen.

#TFW a "#reputable" company decides that executing a transaction with them gives them never-ending permission to #spam you with #promotional #emails.
TFW they provide no way to opt-out of what should have been opt-in in the first place, and don't even have a contact/support link on the site they're trying to entice you to visit.
TFW you get sufficiently #pissed off to track down which 3rd-party #email #service they contract with, and #report their asses...

#OptIn and #OptOut are both #consent issues.
Regardless, Opt-In and Opt-Out BOTH have a component called " YOU are forced to act on one or other, either way."
This is part of the #FreeWebHostingCulture wars in I.T. industries as a legal component they put into the #TofS ( Terms of Service ) that touches all industries.

Ich lese mich gerade weiter in das Thema "ungewollte #Werbung" ein. In #Amsterdam sind sie da schon weiter: dort gibt es für die #PapierWerbung schon das #OptIn Verfahren. Damit darf Werbung nur zugestellt werden, wenn man mit "Ja" ausdrücklich zugestimmt hat. Unser #BMJV bekommt es seit Jahren nicht hin.
Bitte zeichnet daher diese Petition und unterstützt die #DUH, dass das endlich realisiert wird, wenn ihr auch dafür seid, #Müll zu vermeiden. Danke.
