We're at the point culturally where we have to accept that, much like #uce / #spam, #AISlop will remain widespread.
How might we have a scoring system ala #spamhaus implemented by a trusted third party/nonprofit to recognize sites that've succumbed to #enshittification via #llm / #generativeAI so we can blacklist domains and warn the user before they visit a site?

What is the status for #IPv6 only #Tor #Exits? I have problems with #UCE blacklisting a /24 of our provider. The Tor Exit is running for 10 years, but maybe it would be a solution to run it IPv6 only for the Exit to just get the IPv6/64 blacklistet which does not do any harm to the other customers in the /24 IPv4 network. -

Email spam delivery is off the charts for the last week. I have no idea whats driving it, but the numbers for RBL blocks, SASL login spam, and scam mail are at an all time high.
Attempted distraction campaign during Trump trial? Cyber warfare ramping up as retaliation for war funding (or not)? Hard to say, all I know is there is some push happening right now.

AI sich die Webseite (https://www.ffdus.de) angeschaut und passend dafür so einen Motivations-Satz für die Einleitung abgerungen hat.
In diesem Fall: Respekt! Dass die dann komplett falsch abgebogen sind ("Geld verdienen mit OpenWRT-Config-Tips"?!?): Nunja... AI. Ich hoffe zumindest, dass sich die proklamierten 3 Studis diese Fehlleistung persönlich zuschreiben müssen.

#Webtropia hat vor 2 Tage einen #Server der #Piratenpartei #NRW abgeschaltet wegen angeblicher nicht beantworteter #Abuse Tickets. Der Server ist der #Tor #Exit, der seit Jahren immer mal wieder kurzzeitig gesperrt wurde, aber jetzt hat so ein #Schlangenöl Anbieter für #Blacklists (#UCE oder so) wohl das ganze /24 Subnet in dem der Server ist gesperrt, weil em ja irgendwer #SSH #Bruteforce und #Wordpress Logins durchprobiert.
#Blacklists in der Art sind eine Seuche und nutzlos, wenn ihr nen Server schützen wollt, dann müsst ihr als Betreiber den sicher machen und solche Attacken erkennen und dann die Angreifer aussperren. Schlangenöl hilft da nicht, wenn die Attacke ist ja schon vorbei wenn eine IP in der Liste gelandet ist.
#Webtropia gehört zu #myloc und die gehören wiederum seit 2020 zu #WIIT oder so. Sie reagieren jetzt einfach nicht mehr auf #Tickets wie es scheint.
Was nun? Geld nehmen sie, aber Server ist abgeschaltet. -
