Another day, another local small business automatically "opting" me into their marketing mailing list using an email address provided only for specific purposes.
FFS. This time it was the veterinarian. This ain't allowed in Canada.

Days since I had to report a major Canadian retailer to their marketing mail host for not honouring marketing communications preferences, sending non-working links for "manage your preferences" or "unsubscribe", having a non-working link in the List-Help: header of an unsolicited marketing email, and having a website that errors out when trying to use the "contact us" function:

We're at the point culturally where we have to accept that, much like #uce / #spam, #AISlop will remain widespread.
How might we have a scoring system ala #spamhaus implemented by a trusted third party/nonprofit to recognize sites that've succumbed to #enshittification via #llm / #generativeAI so we can blacklist domains and warn the user before they visit a site?

What is the status for #IPv6 only #Tor #Exits? I have problems with #UCE blacklisting a /24 of our provider. The Tor Exit is running for 10 years, but maybe it would be a solution to run it IPv6 only for the Exit to just get the IPv6/64 blacklistet which does not do any harm to the other customers in the /24 IPv4 network.
