I learned about #sertenejo from the unorthodox angle of folks reclaiming it as #queernejo 🏳️‍⚧️ with fantastic tunes and videos that struck me, but made clear it was an alternative vision

I’ve presumed it was something like our #CountryMusic, but with better chord changes 🤠

That said, over here the number one selling instruments are probably three-row button accordions for the norteño market

Which brings up the whole other issue of how most 🪗 are really boring

The norteño market knows how to sell new accordions at different prices and quality with lots of flash

I would hope a handmade Melodeon would be in a different quality level entirely

But I might like a range of colors 🌈
