El 22 se estrena al completo Ruido Tovar. Entre los adelantos desvelados está esta colab., Cumbia fantasía, cuyo nombre no puede ser más descriptivo.

Estamos ante una pieza libérrima que difícilmente podría funcionar interpretada por otras personas, muy pocas serían las elegidas. Por tanto, viene a ser, para bien, casi inversionable. Visto desde el otro lado: personal a más no poder, con sello de autenticidad.

La canción mezcla electrónica minimalista de brillitos (aportando buena onda por sobre todas las cosas) con folclore tropical e indie haciendo que suene a algo distinto y a la suma de sus partes al mismo tiempo.

Mención aparte merece la batería, cuya presencia constante en un plano secundario inyecta viveza en el tema.

Apenas hay letra, otro puntazo. <<Vivo en fantasía pero tengo pocas alegrías>>, recitan más que cantan. Yo comprendo que hay mucho, pero también hay mucho medio, de todos los tamaños, incluso unipersonales, hablando de cualquier cosa (y de cualquier manera, no se puede tapar el sol con el dedo). Y a mí me chirría el escaso recorrido que está teniendo lo nuevo de Joni Antequera.

Desde su Banana Records y con un visual dirigido por GMZ (aka Raúl Gómez aka el autor de Tu canción, la de Eurovisión) presenta esta nueva incursión en los ritmos tropicales desde su casi infalible óptica pop. A veces no le sale, y es lógico, en cualquier caso Amatria tiene olfato y sabe manejarse en todo el proceso creativo.

En este caso sí le sale.

Probablemente aprendido de sus anteriores escarceos en estos sones, Amatria está vitalista y cómodo en este Que te cunda, que habla de gente que es pura fachada. Peñita a evitar. Que les cunda. Les habla con la alegría de quitarse una piedra de las espaldas; trompetero, fraseando antes que cantando, como se hace ahora, sin olvidarse de sentar a la mesa un estribillazo breve y directo, con unos coros de otro/ese trópico, y desde el inicio sobre una base infalible. Encima con una duración irreductiblemente contemporánea.

Bueno, reducir siempre se puede, eso está -demasiado- vigente, aunque mejor tener mano y saber cuándo cortar. Él lo supo.
