New instance, new intro post!

I'm Rachel! I'm a full-time academic advisor, full-time social work student, and part-time music journalist.

I've written for many top Americana-focused publications like No Depression, The Boot, Wide Open Country, and The Nashville Scene.

I've also been running my Americana blog Adobe & Teardrops for 12 years and counting! (See profile for link.)

#Beatsworkingforaliving is an amazing book and #MartinLilleker was a brilliant #musicjournalist for many years for the #SheffieldTelegraph. He championed so many new Sheffield groups and was always full of positivity. His column was a go to every week.

This book only goes up to the 80s but I think he had plans to do a next volume up to the 90s and then very sadly died a few years back.
