My #Tacoma #Episcopal parish got a grant from #ECUSA (the national church) & now has 4 raised beds full of produce where there used to be lawn to mow.Parishioners do the work in teams. They raised 100s of pounds of fresh veggies the first year, & amounts are going up as they learn from experience.
#Unhoused folks who shelter on our grounds & passersby can take what they want, the rest goes to the Food Banks
