Mit „Salt Moon City“ hat der Belgier Iskander Moon ein starkes Debütalbum veröffentlicht, das bereits eindrucksvoll zeigt, wohin die Reise gehen kann. Nach einer Solotour im Herbst 2026 geht es für ihn Anfang 2027 mit voller Band auf Tour. Am 30. Januar 2027 dürfen wir ihn bei uns im NUN begrüßen und laden euch herzlich ein:

Wer den jungen Belgier bereits live erleben durfte, weiß woher sein Ruf als außergewöhnlich starker Live-Act kommt. In seiner Heimat baut er derzeit ordentlich Momentum auf: Die Tickets für seine Clubtour im Herbst verkaufen sich rasant, und der Auftritt mit Band beim diesjährigen Pukkelpop-Festival war ein weiterer, eindrucksvoller Beweis für seine Live-Qualitäten.

Diese fantastische Fullband-Show holen wir nun nach Deutschland! Im Januar & Februar spielt der Shootingstar aus Brüssel eine 2-wöchige Tour, direkt im Anschluss an seine Solo-Tour im Herbst 26, die ihn auch durch Österreich und die Schweiz führt.

Nach der vielbeachteten EP Are You Lost Here? (2024) und der Debütsingle „Saturday Silence“, über Monate hinweg im Radio zu hören war, hat der junge Indie-Pop-Singer-Songwriter Iskander Moon im Februar 2026 sein Debutalbum „Salt Moon City“ veröffentlicht.

In den vergangenen zwei Jahren sammelte Iskander Inspiration bei mehr als 60 Konzerten in ganz Europa. Gleichzeitig produzierte und arbeitete er von seiner neuen Wahlheimat Brüssel aus an Singles und Alben zahlreicher anderer Künstler:innen.

Ganz seinem nomadischen Lebensstil entsprechend, entstand Salt Moon City an den unterschiedlichsten Orten – unter anderem in Berlin, New York und in einem Schloss aus dem 19. Jahrhundert direkt hinter der französischen Grenze. Das Ergebnis ist ein facettenreich orchestriertes Alternative-Pop-Album, auf dem der 25-jährige Iskander seine Qualitäten als Soul-Balladensänger ebenso eindrucksvoll zeigt, wie seine musikalischen Wurzeln als klassischer Pianist oder als Performer einer Rockband.

Wer genau hinhört, entdeckt einen musikalischen Alleskönner: Inspiriert von Künstlern wie Paolo Nutini, Sufjan Stevens und Coldplay ebenso, wie von den Werken klassischer Größen wie Bach und Debussy.
