I've been able to listen to music a bit more often than before, for short periods at least (tl;dr: long covid) and it just feels so so good. I can't tell you how much it does and means to me.

Anyway, I've been a bit late to the party, but I'm really obsessed with Lizzy McAlpine's "Older" album. It's so beautiful: wonderful voice, meaningful lyrics, exceptional instrumentation and production (check out the "making of" documentary as well!). It just feels so real.

Give it a listen if you're into indie/alternative/.. or just want to hear something new.

I’ve been neglecting to take pictures of and post my volunteer work registering people to vote. For one thing, #Headcount isn’t on Mastodon yet, and also I just forget.

Anyway, last night we were at #MoodyTheater for the #LizzyMcAlpine show. We’ve got a bunch more shows lined up all through the summer.

We help people to vote and get to see concerts for free. It’s a sweet gig.
