#Blind #Linux #Accessibility / #a11y folks, I need a #ScreenReader #accessible #email client that supports calendar and contacts integration with #Outlook and #GoogleWorkspace. Thunderbird is out because I cannot find reliable instructions on connecting it to my Outlook contacts. Anyone who suggests that I should either switch back to Windows or use my phone for email will be playfully booped over the head with a pool noodle. Kidding. A feature that I particularly like in the Infomaniak Mail web client is the ability to set a delay (10, 20, or 30 seconds) before an email is actually sent after clicking “Send,” which allows us to undo sending and, if needed, correct the email.
Do you know if Nextcloud Mail has this feature as well?

Gerade festgestellt dass #mutt #Mailclient bei falschem Passwort nochmal mit:
> Authenticating (PLAIN)...
neu-versucht. Das klingt nicht gut.
Habe gerade so die Idee dass man das nur 2-3x bei Tippfehlern sehen muss, dann rechnet man die Unterschiede der Strings raus und hat das Passwort?
Transport-Layer verschlüsselt natürlich noch… aber das macht es nur "beschissen" statt "katastrophal"?
Muss mal die Config anpassen!

📬 Welcher ist der beste GNOME E-Mail-Client?
Ich suche einen zuverlässigen E-Mail-Client für den GNOME Desktop, der nicht nur E-Mails verwaltet, sondern auch Kalender und Kontakte unterstützt. Besonders wichtig ist mir die Integration von Microsoft 365 sowie die Unterstützung von CalDAV/CardDAV.
Habt ihr Empfehlungen?
Ach ja, Thunderbird und Evolution sagen mir nicht so wirklich zu, eher Geary nur der kann nur Mail.

According to @heiseonline, the giant #tech company is requesting the transfer of emails and IMAP and SMTP credentials to their servers, thus giving them "full access to all emails".
The Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Germany, @bfdi, has said he will bring the topic up at a meeting of the European Data Protection Board taking place today.

Temat klient poczty #iOS #macOS. Poleci ktoś jakiś zamiennik dla aplikacji systemowej? Może być płatny, oby nie w subskrypcji. Gdyby miał powiadomienia push i podpisywanie (SMIME/GPG), byłoby cudownie. #mailclient #kilentpoczty.
