Had a conversation today about using a non-standard port for https communication from frontend to backed to hide the API and segregate it from a public API (using a different base path).Both connections end at the same backend.
I argued against adding that complexity as I do not see a big benefit from it.
If I'm using a browser the frontend code is delivered to me and I can inspect the configuration. And if I'm logged in I can see the traffic.
Am I missing something?
