Dann kamen Benjamin Weinthals Vorwürfe gegen mich. Antisemitismus. Ein Wort von gewaltigem moralischem Gewicht. Seine Anschuldigungen blieben für mich nicht im Netz. Der Konflikt erreichte meinen beruflichen Raum und traf mich in einer Zeit, in der meine psychische Kraft ohnehin erschöpft war. Wer gleichzeitig die bevorstehende Erblindung verarbeitet, erlebt einen solchen öffentlichen Angriff nicht als abstrakte Debatte. Er trifft Identität, Sicherheit und Existenz zugleich. Das erklärt meine Depression nicht allein. Aber es erklärt, warum dieser Konflikt für mich zum letzten Tropfen wurde.
