#MacSurf - Updated the browser to 1.4 and it works much better than the earlier release I tried out.Together with the Power #MachTen terminal MacOS9 feels like a modern OS and much better looking!

The power button on this Cube is a light capacitive touch sensor that is able to detect touch through the thick plastic top.
The internal block has an impressive clamp to attach itself to the top vent piece.

It was on this day May 6th, in 1998 that Apple launched the iMac in a world of beige that turned around the company. -
Sadly it looks like enough parts on this are missing that it’s not easily usable. Would sure love to Mac OS 9 again.

@fistfulofdave If not mistaken #MacOS9 has no "minimize" function.
So why not minimizing your windows to the Dock? You can also change a setting in "System Settings" -> "Desktop & Dock" so that a double click on the window title bar minimizes it. -
We’ve been in squircle jail beforeI’m not using macOS 26 Tahoe yet – hopefully I’ll never have to; 🤞 the next version of macOS is less of a dumpster fire, and I’ll just skip Tahoe entirely.
But, looking over other people’s shoulders, and listening to the groans and cries, I’m struck by something. We’ve been here before. Icon jail, I mean (“Squircle” jail specifically in Tahoe’s case):
