  1. Walking in and around the Nature Reserve this morning .The Meadow was stunning.I know it's adjacent rather than in the #LNR but it really is a gem for #flora and fauna. I certainly don't remember seeing so many #orchids here previously.

  2. Day 14 following total right #kneereplacement managed a 1.4km walk down into the #LNR and a loop around Castle Pool. Spring sunshine and it's getting better everyday.

  3. After a month away the #Nature Reserve is bursting with green growth and alive with bird life The council have done a good job of keeping the main paths in good order too. The new ponds look well established too.

  4. In the #LNR planting heather plugs on the Pitmound .The @buglifeproject already showing success as one of the opened up banks and a willow tree alive with bumble bees. Buff and red tailed among the species noted.
    Also an old iron rail and sleeper from the days of mining rails.

  6. Heather seed from Langley Fields sown on Parish Mound part of the #LNR
    The section cleared of gorse was seeded by the @Buzz_dont_tweet team aided by volunteers including a fantastically enthusiastic large group from nearby Southall School. Budding and buzzing next spring 🌱 🐝

  7. 5km walking route from home and back.Uplifting at this,my least favourite ,time of year.
    Pleased to see how totally #litter free the Area was then bumped into a couple of #Telfordstreetchampions ,quietly and anonymously finishing the picking of a bag full.

    Langley fields #LNR s The council have recently out in some good infrastructure to aid #accessibility including a bench where you can sit and see holy trinity Church and Brown Clee the highest point in #Shropshire as well as 3 other #Nature reserves in South Telford.

  9. Walk around the #LNR Local #NatureReserve this morning.The meadow at the south end of furnace pools is looking particularly diverse at the moment.Its great to have such a place on our doorstep. Spot the heron at the Sprynge pool

  10. Pictures from this morning's walk through the nature reserve to pick the car up from the pub. Think this is the coldest snap here for quite a while Froze a few potted plants I'd put in the (unheated)greenhouse .
