Pub then home via a pristine empty HighSt.

Walk in a frosty #Dawley Hamlets LNR today.The second picture gives a bit of an onsite into the #buglife intervention on Parish Mound. Heather plugs have survived 👍🏻foxgloves and other flowers on the bank👍🏻 gorse regrowth👎🏻 Overall should be good for insect life.

This morning's walk around the #NatureReserve.Wrather really changeable.bitter cold wind ,then bright sunshine and just back before rain.

Thanks everyone who helped make it such a great event.

After a month away the #Nature Reserve is bursting with green growth and alive with bird life The council have done a good job of keeping the main paths in good order too. The new ponds look well established too.

Dusk walk around #Dawley Hamlets Local #Nature reserve.#Bats over the Dandy Pool,and a plenty of #birds song and a full 🌕 too.

After yesterday's blue skies,a grey rainy day of work in the #Dawley Hamlets Local #Nature Reserve with David Reeves from smallwoods. Across all sectors we focused on uprooting invasive cherry Laurel, clearing trees fallen across Paths, making log piles and ring barking selected trees that hopefully will become standing nature reserves of dead wood in themselves for myriad species including wood peckers, owls and bats for 30 years to come.

Went on the bus to #Shrewsbury to show Lin some of the places related to #CharlesDarwin and his early life there. Came across this bust of #Dawley's most famous son #CaptainWebb
