  1. The wonderful roof of Langley Chapel, #Shropshire, completed in 1601. In the 16th C the chapel was built for the Burnell family, probably replacing one built in the 1300s. It's a little rectangular building standing alone in a field. Last used in the 19th C, it escaped restorers.
