This morning, students at #Columbia University picketed outside the homes of three trustees.
At two of the three locations, random harassers suckerpunched student picketers. At one, a car drove into a student. NYPD arrested the victim.
The attacker is Reuven Kahane, a cousin of Meir Kahane, the late fascist founder of the JDL and the murderous #Kahanist movement in occupied Palestine

(from pro palestinian telegram channel) 30 years ago today, American doctor "Baruch Goldstein" massacred 29 Palestinian worshippers and injured 125 more in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil. At least 26 Palestinians were martyred in clashes that ensued following the massacre, and nine more settlers were killed.
Baruch was beaten to a pulp by wounded Palestinians that he wasn't able to murder.While many refer to Baruch as a zionist "extremist," one must understand that this killer's actions are a microcosm of the entire "history" of the zionist entity, rooted in genocide, theft, and desecration. Baruch is not a one-off; he is represented by those who currently control the zionist entity.
Itamar Ben-Gvir proudly portrayed Baruch Goldstein's picture in his living room for years in defense of his actions; they were members of the same zionist terroist "Kach" party. Many other zionists continue to treat him as a hero.
In fact, in the aftermath, the illegitimate zionist government saw it best to divide the mosque, conceding to the murderer's demands and giving colonist Jews the majority of the site while stealing Muslim sanctities from indigenous Palestinians. While this action was widely condemned by the international community, nothing has changed to correct it. The supposedly "temporary" divide still stands three decades later.
The #massacre is a reminder that the zionist entity's settler-colonial project has always been built on the subjugation, dispossession, and genocide of the Palestinian people. The zionist entity enjoys the same impunity as Goldstein to this day.
Regardless, the judge is the Palestinian resistance, speaking in the language of bullets and explosives. At least 15 settlers were killed following the massacre. The pace and nature of resistance changed as well: as it became clear that the entire entity was militarized, all settlers became legitimate targets. Ayyash's operations shook the entity in response, Beit Lid came a year later, and the struggle entered a new phase that continues to excel and avenge.

Sunday’s remark by Heritage Minister Amichai #Eliyahu (Otzma #Yehudit), who said that dropping a #nuclearbomb on the #GazaStrip is an option, is a problem not for #Israeli public diplomacy but rather for Israeli reality.
The problem is not any particular statement, but rather the power and legitimacy enjoyed today, in Israel as a whole and in the government, by the #Kahanist, messianic Jewish far right, which supports# annexation and #occupation and Jewish prayer on the #TempleMount, sees the current war as an opportunity and scorns the international community, international institutions and the laws of war.
This was not a slip of the tongue. In an interview with Radio Kol Barama, Eliyahu said that “there are no uninvolved [civilians]” in the Gaza Strip. Asked by his interviewer whether that meant Israel should drop a nuclear bomb on the Strip, he responded, “That’s one way.” And his subsequent “clarification” – “It is clear to anyone who is sensible that the nuclear remark was metaphorical” – is ridiculous. A #metaphor for what?
Nor is he a lone exception. Eliyahu’s party colleague, lawmaker Yitzhak #Kroizer, told Army Radio on Sunday that “the #Gaza Strip should be flattened, and there should be one sentence for everyone there – death. We have to wipe the Gaza Strip off the map. There are no innocents there.” Entire swaths of the government belong to the dangerous far right: Bezalel #Smotrich, Itamar Ben-#Gvir, Simcha #Rothman, Orit #Strock, Avi #Maoz, Zvi #Sukkot, Limor Son Har-#Melech and their confederates.
Prime Minister Benjamin #Netanyahu’s response was lame. Eliyahu’s statement, he said, was “disconnected from reality,” and the minister will be barred from cabinet meetings until further notice. He ought to have fired Eliyahu, but he chose not to do so; he prioritized preserving his government over preserving Israel.
Netanyahu isn’t the solution, but the problem. He has legitimized Kahanism and the far right. During his years in power, Israel has grown more extreme, and people who used to be loathsome #pariahs are now senior cabinet #ministers. Ideas and values that used to be outside the consensus, such as “transferring” Arabs from Israel, a second #Nakba and Jewish prayer on the #TempleMount, have been normalized under Netanyahu’s irresponsible #leadership.
He is the one who lent legitimacy to political alliances with admirers of Rabbi Meir Kahane, the mass murderer Baruch #Goldstein and the murderer of the #Dawabsheh family. Rockets launched from Gaza fell in Sderot
I thought Israel had evacuated everyone from Sdrot as one of the first cities before the mobilization of reservists?!These desperate launch of rockets that only cause fear and anger is not going to help Palestinians in any way.
But I guess, it is their desperate show of defiance against the military might of Israel, to show that they are still fighting.
If the peace deal between Arafat and Shamir was not just a sham sell out by Arafat to gain status in delusion of having a Palestinian state, and included real issues such as status of #Jerusalem, disbanding of illegal settlements and the compensation or plan for millions of refugees to have the right to return, there could be a real #peace between the two nations.
Unfortunately, #Shamir was killed and Ariel #Sharon the butcher of #Sabra and #Chatila became PM of Israel and killed #Arafat together with any hope of a real Palestinian state. Ever since then, situation has gone from bad to worse and more than half the population of occupied territories who were born after that "peace deal" have only seen betrayal after betrayal, followed by uprising, brutal crack down and expansion of illegal Jewish #settlements.
The corrupt and useless #PA who turned into extended hands of apartheid regime lost it's power to the radical Hamas that gave Israel the excuse to put a deadly blockade against Gaza and turning into the world largest prison.
From then, we have only seen the spiral of violence on both sides, with the rise of serial liar and corrupt politician #Netanyahu who now have legitimized #Kahanist terrorist group in Israel while the "world" not only given up on a just and lasting peace between the 2 groups, but an unconditioned support of the most extreme form of #fascism in Israel while condemning the same escalation among Palestinians.
10s of thousands of people have died (the vast majority of them Palestinians), many more maimed by #IDF shooting on knee-caps and eyes of protesters for decades (an escalation of #Sharon's breaking the bones of palestinian kids to prevent them from participating in the first #Intifada).
Today we see the bloodiest escalation of this conflict, a level of violence that has gone beyond any laws of war and once again, the "world community" seems to be only condemning one side while cowardly "aaking" Israel to be merciful.
The mullahs in #Iran joyfully watching the conflict turn into a regional war in their wet dream of liberating Palestine or turn the world on fire (like their American evangelical christians) to enter the dooms day and return of #Mahdi (12rh imam of Shia) or #Jesus for the christian crazies.
All with 0 care about the suffering and death they are causing.
