In 1948, #Israel forcibly displaced 750,000 Palestinians and destroyed 531 villages during the #Nakba.Their names disappeared from maps and new towns were built over them.
The village of #EinHawd was of the few left standing.
Whilst #Palestinian residents were expelled, Ein Hawd’s homes, mosques and streets were preserved and repurposed as an Israeli artists’ colony.
Today, thousands of tourists visit its galleries and artists’ studios each year, while its original Palestinian residents are denied the right to return.

So I guess then they should have gotten Israel’s input? Even though that would suggest a responsibility to have the perpetrators of human rights’ violations sign off on displays about their human rights violations which seems…bad. Kann mir eigentlich irgendwer von der Melonen-Sekte erklären wieso ein historisches Unrecht ( #Israel vernichten & Millionen Juden/Jüdinnen vertreiben ) nicht das Gleiche wie ein anderes historisches Unrecht ( #Nakba ) sein soll ?
Der Unterschied ist, das Eine kann nicht mehr ungeschehen gemacht werden, nur noch im Rahmen der historischen Verantwortung aufgeabeitet werden.

Genocide cannot be tolerated. Remaining silent about what Israel has done leads us all down a path to hell. Israelis and Gazans are already living that reality. Israelis with the knowledge that their country will be forever associated with this crime, and Palestinians paying the price for 80 years of occupation that Israel refuses to end. International law exists to address genocide, occupation, ethnic cleansing, mass rape, crimes against humanity, and other violations that Israel has carried out for decades with impunity. Hamas/affiliates attacking civilian population are not exempt either. Governments should enforce these laws instead of weaponizing #antisemitism and criminalizing protest. Jewish people, more than anyone, should reject Israel’s claim to speak in their name to justify the displacement of another people. Israel forfeited its right to exist when it refused to respect the other side’s right to self-determination. There can be no Israel if Palestinians are exterminated or expelled, as Israel is planning (since before 1948, there should be no doubt about that).
