I see these layered dreams every week and have a long list to draw from starting from my childhood...and I am apparently 32 now.

Or it is teen me having a really fucking long, detailed, and a bit too money-lacking dream in my opinion. :P

I hate that Upwork decided it's cool to delete my saved Connects, so now I have to buy Connects to apply for jobs when I am currently looking for jobs to have, you know, money.

Have other web devs noticed a downturn in projects recently? I have. At the start of the year things started feeling a bit off, but the last few weeks I'm seeing very little in the way of leads for both WP and Shopify.

I can understand Shopify to an extent, it's focused around ecommerce and the majority of clients starting out are small or even one person, with a small budget.

There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now and add to it that AI is becoming a poor alternative for real developers.
