Je vois parfois sur certains médias sociaux des conneries du genre « imaginez le nombre de disquettes requis pour installer Windows 11 », avec une image d’une disquette de 1,44 Mo étiquetée disquette 1 de N, 1,44 Mo.

Il faut savoir que les disquettes d’installation de Windows 95 et 98 étaient formatées en 1,7Mo. Les fichiers d’installation de Windows sur le CD-ROM des fichiers .CAB, numéroté séquentiellement, d’environ 1.63Mo.

This pic makes it look more like spring than it actually feels like here. The old tulips getting ready to open up. Taken with the vintage floppy disc based camera we found on waste ground in glorious 1.2 megapixels (not bad really.Even a hint of bokeh). Not the max possible resolution avilable but 6 images a disc is as practical as I can live with. #Mavica #FloppyDisc #VintageDigital #VintageDigitalCamera #SonyMavica #photography

At last an image from the 1.3MP Sony Mavica FD85 . Took me ages to find my old floppy drive (nothing is lost.Just hiding).
Here's a pic of a picture frame feat. our much missed cat giving us the look of usual max contempt and the legend "the difference between cats and dogs is that dogs come when called and cats take a message and get back to you".
The image in this frame was originally take on a Kodak 1.3MP DC240.

Odd #Linux question: Does #linuxmint come with #floppydisc drivers in it? Or can they be installed? I've got some I want to get rid of, but wanted to go through them first.
