#Stationary / #Art Supply question::

I have a watercolour pad of paper : 120gsm (it's very 'toothy') and I want to use masking tape on it but! type I currntly have is too sticky and removes a layer of the paper - even if I pre-warm it with a hairdryer.

Any recommendations for brands that won't lift the paper? I already know Froggy and Tamiya are good but am looking for something slightly cheaper.

Also I am in the UK.

I got to find out something about the Fisher Space Pen the other day I didn't know before.

I've seen people write with these under water, and the ink seems to perform pretty well. It didn't bleed or act abnormally.

But the other day, I was out doing some stuff on my scooter and got completely soaked, Just about every part of me got soaked right to the skin, including the little notebook that I had with me that I'd written my grocery list on.

That list was written with my Space Pen, and I can say that on cheap paper, it will bleed if the paper is soaked. You don't see this in the demos, but it does happen. It will bleed through cheap paper, and off of it onto other things. (Fortunately in my case, just the back of the cover and not my shirt!)

It was still legible, but as a word to the wise, if you use cheap paper that acts like a sponge when it gets wet, Space Pen ink will bleed and come off just like any other, especially if it's freshly written. My notebook got soaked within about 20 minutes of my writing in it.
