Oh, wow! There were so many different versions of SimCity graphics sets! Ancient or Future Cities… US, as well as European editions… Versions for Amiga 512K or 1 meg. The IBM-PC versions were also released on 3.5“ or 5.25“ diskettes. And, I guess, there were Macintosh versions, too. I personally only have these 4 boxes.

Using software written in 2026 (by @colin_mcmillen) on a computer released in 1983 to extract digital photos from a digital camera released in 1994.

Apple QuickTake 200 connected via serial to my 128K enhanced Apple IIe (video output via composite to CRT and to LCD via VidHD video card) with "large" volumes mounted via CFFA3000 flash storage card.

The 640x480 camera images (JPEGs) are decoded and scaled for display in the double high-res graphics mode at 560x192 monochrome pixels. Just lovely.

I always find it super interesting to look at the floppy disk image collection from TotalDOSCollection and its folder sizes. Each year's size gives you a very acurate idea how games on floppy disks reached their peak in 1993/94 and then quickly vanished.
